Biscoop TV Opens the Era of High-Definition Mobile Game Broadcasting
- Real-time High-Definition Game Broadcasting Service with Biscoop Android Mobile App
'Biscoop TV,' an internet game broadcasting service for everyone, announced that it updated the real-time game broadcasting function on the Biscoop mobile app for MCNs and internet broadcasters in the Android version as of March 21st. They stated that they developed this by reflecting the latest customer trend that prefers speed and intuitive UX, incorporating a simple and fast UX that allows anyone to go from membership registration to real-time mobile broadcasting within 10 seconds using an Android mobile device.
To broadcast on mobile, users can run the Biscoop mobile app in an internet-connected environment and press the + button at the bottom right or the 'Broadcast' button in the top left tab menu to set the broadcast title and select a game. When 'Broadcast' is pressed, broadcasting starts immediately. During the broadcast, it is possible to mute the microphone or activate the camera, and the system is configured to allow changing the broadcast title even while broadcasting, which is convenient for real-time promotion during the stream. The picture quality supports two levels, from a minimum of 600kbps to 1,600kbps, a feature applied considering the varying performance differences among mobile devices. They also announced that in the future, high-definition transmission at the level of 2,000kbps will be supported on mobile.
Gu Bon-woo, the researcher in charge of Biscoop Mobile development, stated, "We will do our best to improve the UX specialized for mobile games, as well as the sound quality and picture quality." He revealed that the current Biscoop mobile app capable of broadcasting is available for download from the Android Play Store and can be used on Android OS version 5.0 Lollipop or higher. However, due to the nature of the mobile user environment, he added that a stable wireless network connection and bandwidth must be secured through Wi-Fi or LTE to guarantee an excellent viewing experience.
/ End
