Emotionwave, which operates 'Biscoop TV,' an internet game broadcasting service for everyone, announced the launch of the Biscoop Hub service for MCNs and internet broadcasters. Through the Biscoop Hub service, it enables simultaneous broadcasting to media platforms such as YouTube, AfreecaTV, Twitch, and LiveHousein with a single account. Previously, when internet broadcasters streamed on media platforms like AfreecaTV or Twitch, it was impossible to broadcast simultaneously on other media platforms. Because of this, there were inconveniences in expanding one's platform reach and securing more subscribers by re-broadcasting recorded content from one media platform onto another.
Emotionwave stated that with the launch of the Biscoop Hub service, a new simultaneous broadcasting service for MCNs and internet content providers, it will now be possible to simultaneously provide live content to various platforms, ensuring convenience in acquiring viewers and spreading content across diverse platforms rather than being limited to one platform. The Biscoop Hub service enables simultaneous broadcasting using general-purpose internet broadcasting applications like OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) and RTMP protocol compatible software such as xSplit. For existing Biscoop TV users, multi-broadcasting is possible by using the newly issued Biscoop Hub dedicated key in the Hub menu within the Biscoop TV settings.
The Biscoop Hub allows real-time confirmation of data streams for each broadcasting platform's transmission from the Biscoop TV settings dashboard even during live broadcasts, and it enhances broadcaster convenience with active/inactive functions to turn the broadcast on or off. While the Biscoop Hub supports a resolution of 1920x1080 at 30fps with a broadcast bandwidth of under 5000k, users broadcasting simultaneously to AfreecaTV should note that they must broadcast at 1280x720, 30fps, and a bandwidth of 2000k.
Emotionwave's dedicated research department stated that "we will continue to launch creative and practical services for the spread of internet broadcasting culture, MCNs, and content creators."
