[Emotionwave] Emotionwave Holds Special Lecture on Generative AI-Based Music Creation Technology at Sungkyunkwan University

Emotionwave, a specialist in AI music technology, delivered a lecture at Sungkyunkwan University on music creation using generative AI.

The session was designed for master’s and doctoral students and faculty studying AI telecommunications in the Department of Media and Communication. It explored music AI, its applications in the metaverse, and ways to incorporate these technologies into media courses.

In connection with the department’s sentence-type classification dataset project, the lecture discussed the importance and analytical methods of data mining and annotation for creating integrated multimedia, including text, images, drawings and music. It also covered deep learning models such as GANs, TransformerXL, CNNs and RNNs, their relationship to data, and the effects on model performance.

Emotionwave introduced the music creation logic and platform concepts behind its RIMA AI concert solution, including how offline AI music experiences can connect with the metaverse. Participants also discussed linking university education with music education business models and developing a startup ecosystem through industry–academia collaboration.
