Emotionwave participated in 'EDIX 2022,' held in Tokyo, Japan, from Wednesday, May 11th to Friday, May 13th, showcasing its K-POP education platform 'mew Global' (mew) and launching a full-scale offensive into the Japanese education market.
'mew' is a music education platform that allows users to learn K-POP and music through various AI-based contents, providing services utilizing mobile apps, AI instruments, and the metaverse. Furthermore, based on our proprietary Edutech technology, it is a hybrid platform capable of linking online and offline services using AI, as well as O2O linkage between mobile and the metaverse, offering a full-cycle music learning experience.
We attracted the attention of on-site visitors by showcasing a total of four types of services: 'mew Mobile,' a mobile education platform; 'mew AI,' an AI music device product including the mew AI piano; 'mew Metaverse,' a metaverse-type education platform; and 'mew Music Place,' an offline education space providing full-cycle services. Additionally, we have confirmed interest in adoption from approximately 40 companies and institutions through EDIX 2022 for in-school IT music classrooms, improvement of educational environments in music colleges, and franchising inquiries within Japan, which is currently underway.
As the popularity of K-Culture continues globally, there is a lack of non-face-to-face education systems that can professionally teach music. Through mew, we plan to provide opportunities for domestic teachers to offer education services to overseas customers, and for K-POP fans overseas to learn K-POP from professional Korean educators.
We will continue to be Emotionwave, creating a new culture where anyone can easily enjoy creative activities through the convergence of art and technology.
