On the 28th, Emotionwave announced that it has completed patent registration after receiving patent rights for the Artificial Intelligence Musical Instrument Service Providing System (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MUSICAL INSTRUMENT SERVICE PROVIDING SYSTEM) [Patent Application No. 10-2018-0153305].<br/>The AI musical instrument service providing system, which has completed patent registration, is the world's first AI Band system linked with IOT and a technology that can be used in various fields, from education to creation and appreciation, in music experience. It is expected that its uses will be diverse, ranging from music lovers to experts, by applying autonomous performance of actual instruments, artificial intelligence creation, and collaboration technology to existing electronic sound-based music experiences.<br/>Emotionwave successfully registered a patent for the AI musical instrument service providing system, which allows for performances and creations tailored to the location and individual's taste. It is expected that an AI-created and directly performed music system will maximize the popularization and convenience of advanced performance techniques and creation/collaboration that previously required professional performers.<br/>This technology is the result of research and development conducted since 2016, as Emotionwave was selected as the main institution for a technology development project supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Gyeonggi Contents Agency.<br/>Emotionwave plans to launch new services and products that incorporate technologies such as immersive non-face-to-face concert provision linked with XR, and ultra-low latency ensemble and studio technology based on 5G, using this system in the future.<br/>A company official said, "We have successfully completed various tests for education, creation, and appreciation regarding the Artificial Intelligence Musical Instrument Service Providing System and loaded a deep learning engine. At this crucial time when we are fully entering the music and entertainment market, by completing patent registration for the B2c and B2B AI musical instrument service providing system, we have also established protective measures."
