On February 5th, Emotionwave announced that it has completed a patent application for the 'Method and System for Providing Artificial Intelligence Based Extended Reality Music Tutoring Service.'
The head of the research institute at Emotionwave, who completed the patent application, stated that they developed this technology with the expectation that it will be widely used as a new media education system combining extended reality technology and robotics technology, which are core technologies necessary for immersive remote education, one of the biggest topics in the New Normal era.
Emotionwave announced that by applying patented technology to MuRun and Rima Station, telepresence systems capable of music tutoring through public or private education, it has become possible to provide more realistic and innovative two-way 1:1 and 1:N immersive education.
This technology is the result of research and development that Emotionwave has been conducting since 2017 as the main institution for a technology development project supported by the Small and Medium Business Administration.
It is expected that this technology will solve the difficulties and problems experienced in existing practical music academies, individual music instructors, and music and arts education in public institutions and organizations.
