Artificial intelligence platform company Emotionwave (CEO Rio Jang) announced that it officially launched 'StageCloud,' a metaverse music creation platform combining AI and Web3, through the Google Play Store and MUTA's homepagehttps://stagecloud.muta.liveon August 23, 2024.
'StageCloud' allows users to generate original sound sources in various music genres through the mobile app 'Creator Pocket' and share them within a virtual space. Notably, it supports 8 genres, including jazz, blues, rock, and hip-hop, and features AI technology that can simultaneously generate four sound sources with up to 10 instruments within 15 seconds.
Emotionwave also plans to build an ecosystem utilizing Web3 technology where users can assetize the music they create in the form of STO (Security Token Offering). This provides a new environment that gives creative works value as digital assets, not only for music creation in virtual spaces but also beyond.

As part of the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Radio Advertising Promotion Association (RAPA)'s metaverse leading project, Emotionwave plans to strengthen its AI-based creator ecosystem in collaboration with Finger Co., Ltd. Through 'StageCloud DAO,' it will build an audition support ecosystem, and by the end of this year, it plans to sequentially unveil music Web3 revenue models, including a project where famous musicians and StageCloud users collaborate on AI music creation and DAO-based release auditions, as well as projects supporting indie artists.
Park Seong-hyun, a director at Emotionwave, said, “We expect that with the launch of StageCloud, we can further strengthen our presence and platform business model in the global music creation market by enhancing the diversity of AI music and media content.” He added, “In the future, we will do our best to provide easy and diverse musical activities in various genres online virtual spaces through technological innovation and support for various frameworks, catering to everyone from professional musicians to beginners.”
