Emotionwave-KAIST Music AI Research and Development 2019 First Half Convergence Capstone Begins
Based on a participation agreement for the first half of 2019 with science and technology specialized universities (KAIST, POSTECH, GIST, etc.), Emotionwave has operated a convergence capstone project at KAIST during the first half of 2019 (March 2019~June 2019). We are proceeding with the Music AI project by collaborating with our company's artificial intelligence experts using support from 5 science and technology personnel at KAIST.
Emotionwave has been conducting various collaborations and research to commercialize its music robotics and music AI research and development business, which it has been pursuing since 2016. We are continuing this project with expectations of the emergence of a new industry through the meeting of artificial intelligence technology and music.
In this project, we plan to conduct R&D focusing on developing an AI synthesizer through collaboration between KAIST experts and Emotionwave's experts, building an AI music composition engine and server, and developing a music big data engine.
Emotionwave is dedicated to research and development to innovate the existing market and industry by developing a perfect AI creation and performance environment with 100% integration of advanced music AI and the AI band system that our company is developing, aiming for a launch in early 2020.
