Overview of the 2021 Culture Technology Exhibition

The 2021 Culture Technology Exhibition is an exhibition showcasing various contents that fuse culture and technology. It was organized to provide a place for citizens tired from daily life due to COVID-19 to enjoy content, and to help companies and creators in the cultural technology field enter the market and vitalize related industries through exhibitions and promotional support.
At this Culture Technology Exhibition, 23 cultural contents utilizing technologies such as holograms, media art, kinetic art, and XR (Extended Reality) were exhibited by 19 companies and creators. Contents were presented using five atriums indoors at Starfield Hanam, a large media tower, and the exterior walls of the outdoor parking lot and building.

AI Robot Band RIMA

RIMA was developed in 2017 and was exhibited at the consumer electronics showCES 2020and debuted as the world's first AI robot Korean traditional music concertKorean Traditional Music Mechatronicsonline performance in 2020. Furthermore, it was invited to perform a non-face-to-face walkthrough style performance atFuture Show 2021on October 7th.
The RIMA Music AR Zone exhibited an artificial intelligence robot piano and an artificial intelligence robot drum. By connecting the AI robot instruments and lighting to IoT, we visualized the music's rhythm by remotely controlling the color and brightness of the lights to match the music's rhythm.

Volumetricis a technology that realizes objects in 3D form by simultaneously shooting dozens or even over a hundred cameras at a resolution of 4K quality or higher. Content realized volumetrically is used in AR (Augmented Reality), MR (Mixed Reality), and XR (Extended Reality), allowing users to touch and zoom into the real-life captured object from any direction in 360 degrees.
