The global AI conference 'AICON Gwangju 2021,' which was held for three days from Thursday, December 16th to Saturday, December 18th at the Gwangju Convention Center, successfully concluded.
'AICON Gwangju 2021' was a large-scale conference that surveyed the present and future of AI technology, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT (hereinafter MSIT), the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), and the City of Gwangju, and managed by the Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Business Unit.
We at Emotionwave showcased a fusion of AI music technology and virtual human creation technology at this exhibition,music AI-based entertainment services.
◆ Live Performances by Digital Musicians
We held an opening invitation performance at the AICON Gwangju 2021 Networking Party.
The digital new age musician produced with the digital musician producing platform 'AIMPLE', Hanuland the digital jazz musician ROAappeared on stage as guests.
The songs performed by digital musicians were composed with AI music technology and performed at an offline live concert using AI instruments.
◆ AI Immersive Rhythm Action Game
We also operated a 'Perfect Musician' game experience booth that plays background music based on the AI music technology 'RIMA'.
Perfect Musician is an AI immersive rhythm action game where you operate a guitar controller in time with the beat.
When starting the game, instruments equipped with AI music and performance technology installed nearby perform along with the music.
Because actual instruments are played rather than recorded sounds, you can enjoy the game while feeling a high sense of presence.
Yoo Bo-yoon, who experienced Perfect Musician, shared her thoughts, saying, "Since the instruments were being played next to me, I could feel the on-site atmosphere better, and it helped me concentrate on the game."
In the future, we will continue to provide various future-type entertainment services through the convergence of AI music technology and various advanced ICT technologies.
