[MUTA] Emotionwave Completes Metaverse Audition with Southeast Asian Participants, Opens Entries for International Piano Competition

Emotionwave Co., Ltd., an artificial intelligence music specialized company, successfully concluded 'MUTA AUDITION Find the Owner of ROA' at the '2022 Culture Technology Exhibition' held at Starfield Hanam from October 26th to 30th, allowing anyone to become a musician and enjoy themselves in the metaverse world.

This audition, which sought the owner of digital human ROA, was held as a subsidiary program of 'MUTA Festival,' a global online and offline mixed-type metaverse festival. It was an audition project based on the MUTA metaverse music platform, conducted for the first time in Korea, targeting people interested in auditions and metaverse music nationwide. Applications were accepted for about a month from early to late October this year, with global participants interested in vocals and metaverse music joining regardless of nationality, including those from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea. The judging proceeded in a total of two stages through ▲ document screening and ▲ 1st audition, ▲ 2nd on-site voting audition. The voting method involved broadcasting music videos created using the face of digital human ROA for both on-site and online voting at Starfield Hanam.

The final winner of this audition will receive a Christmas carol album release and debut management for the latter half of this year performing BLACKPINK's rap. Additionally, the runner-up ballad singer will be provided with services to act as the digital human Roa. The applicant who will be active as the digital human Roa stated, "I am very excited to be able to be a digital human Roa," adding that "I look forward to the digital human activity which has the advantage of not revealing my face."

The music world view for Digital Human Roa features an eventful story that begins with a wrong landing in 2022 after using a forbidden time-rip following a struggle for future regions in 5022. This audition was conducted as a story to find the Roa soul due to the side effects of the time-rip. To return to the future, one can use Roa's guitar, which allows travel to the future, and the effect can be enhanced with items from other digital humans. In the future, we plan to unfold the world view with the applicant who will become Roa's owner through album releases and second-half events.

The 'MUTA AUDITION Find the Owner of Roa,' which held its first audition this year, has selected a musician to be active at Muta by proceeding through the final audition. Kim Kyu-hee, Cell Leader of Emotionwave, said, "Thank you for your great interest in this MUTA AUDITION," adding that "we plan to hold various and interesting second auditions starting with MUTA AUDITION, and it will be an opportunity to discover talents who are having difficulty with debut and album releases by fusing software technologies, helping them to display their talent in a new market and stage called the metaverse."

Meanwhile, the Emotionwave Muta team announced that they plan to provide customers with Emotionwave's unique metaverse experience and challenge through various auditions and customer participation programs this year, including a large-scale metaverse international piano competition, a metaverse international taekwondo form competition, and a metaverse nationwide singing contest by the end of the year.
