Emotionwave will hold the 'Muta Festival (MUTA FESTIVAL),' the world's first online-offline mixed music metaverse festival, which involves discovering digital musicians active in the metaverse and K-POP artists and influencers, starting this September.
At the MUTA Festival, which will run from September to the end of the year, attendees can meet artists who traverse between reality and virtual worlds, from K-POP artists to digital human musicians, through various platforms and channels such as the MUTA XR platform for an audience of 1 million online attendees and 800,000 offline attendees.
In particular, the Muta Festival will feature metaverse concert content that can be enjoyed through signature stages connected to each artist's musical color and performances by various K-POP artists appearing with volumetric AR, as well as a program to discover digital musicians who will be the stars in the metaverse space.
Emotionwave has previously presented an AR concert linked to actual offline spaces using volumetric technology, artificial intelligence music, and robot technology in 2020. In 2021, we showcased a metaverse concert that combined digital twin technology between virtual and offline performance venues with 'Hanul,' the world's first AI pianist, and have conducted various unique concerts, exhibitions, and events by being invited to MICE industries and BTC conferences.
As such, diverse and rich programs are prepared until the end of the year, including on-offline mixed K-POP metaverse music concerts linked with local festivals and large retail spaces, and the world's first digital twin type metaverse classical concert, as part of a 'Metaverse Musician Discovery Project' to find musicians for the metaverse.
In the 'Metaverse Musician Discovery Project,' which is looking for musicians for the metaverse, there are not only opportunities for global K-POP debuts but also an award of NFTs worth a total of 100 million won and digital humans for the winners. This digital human will be found as the star for album activities, release opportunities, and performances and broadcast activities that traverse virtual and reality.

In the K-POP Metaverse Music Concert, various artists such as 'Hyo Jin Choi' from ‘Street Woman Fighter’ and vocalist 'Park Wan-kyu' of Boohwal are preparing performances in the metaverse, planning to connect with local citizens to create an enhanced music metaverse festival experience. Additionally, in October, we will present a digital twin concert connecting the metaverse space and actual performance venues for classical and tango concerts. In particular, Hyo Jin Choi is a representative Korean dancer who gained great popularity after appearing in 'Street Woman Fighter,' a survival program themed around dance in 2021, where she received much attention as the team leader.
Park Sung Hyun, Director and General Producer of the Muta Festival, stated that "the Muta Festival will be a festival that connects many elements such as content, but also users' experiences/experiences by combining the actual space and virtual space using Emotionwave's own metaverse technology and artificial intelligence technology, and it will become a regularly scheduled event."
Details about the Muta Festival and participation information will be disclosed on August 15th through the Emotionwave website (www.emotionwave.com).
