Emotionwave, an AI infrastructure specialist led by CEO Jang Soon-chul, is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia by pursuing collaboration with leading Vietnamese broadcasting and media companies and institutions on content production and IP commercialization using AI data center infrastructure.

At the 2026 K-Content Expo Vietnam, held from October 20 to 22 at GEM Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Emotionwave is holding meetings and continuing discussions with local mid-sized media companies and institutions, including Hanoi’s public broadcaster, PNC and Cattiensa.

Key areas of discussion include ▲content co-production using AI data center infrastructure ▲acquiring local content IP and commercializing it globally ▲developing talent specializing in AI content production ▲AI transformation (AX) for broadcasting and media companies.

In particular, Emotionwave is proposing a technology collaboration model based on its own AI computing and data center infrastructure technologies, enabling local content companies to adopt AI production environments and extend existing IP into new digital content and services.

Through this approach, the company aims to identify medium- to long-term B2B business opportunities that connect AI infrastructure supply and operations, technical support for content production, and joint IP commercialization.

At the event, Emotionwave also introduced its own AI-powered content and services, including Infidity, Tangle and Voco. Discussions with local companies and institutions have focused on improving content production efficiency through AI and exploring the commercial potential of existing media assets.

“Content companies in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia have competitive IP and strong production capabilities, and they are showing considerable interest in improving productivity and expanding their businesses through AI,” said Emotionwave CEO Jang Soon-chul. “With Emotionwave’s AI data center infrastructure, we will support local companies’ AI transformation and build a sustainable collaboration ecosystem that connects content production, IP commercialization and talent development.”

Emotionwave plans to turn the local partnerships under discussion at the expo into concrete initiatives and expand its AI infrastructure–based content AX business across Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, and the wider Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
