[Geumgang Ilbo] Emotionwave Showcases AI Music Technology at the 2025 Seocho AI Festa

The AI media company Emotionwave (CEO Rio Jang) was invited to the '2025 Seocho AI Festa' and showcased its AI music technology-based educational platform service, Band Master, and MEW DRUM.

This event, hosted by Seocho-gu and co-organized by Soongsil University AI Convergence Research Institute, was held at Seocho Culture & Arts Park and was planned so that residents could understand and enjoy the changes in the AI era.

On this day, Emotionwave provided hands-on experience with the AI rhythm action game platform 'BandMaster' and the game-based electronic drum education platform 'MEW DRUM', drawing significant attention from many visitors.

'BandMaster' is a new concept AI rhythm action game platform where users play on a guitar controller according to AI-generated notes (Note) set against accompaniment played by artificial intelligence piano and drums in real time.

Users can perform not only on the guitar but also on drums or piano, providing a new form of musical experience where they collaborate with other users through multi-player functionality.

BandMaster is evaluated as an innovative entertainment content that combines artificial intelligence-generated musical patterns and visual immersion, going beyond a simple game, presenting visitors with a new creative experience created by the convergence of AI and music.

The 'MEW DRUM' exhibited together is a game-type electronic drum education platform for music academies that provides a touch-based interface linking tablet apps and electronic drums, making it easy for anyone to use.

Through level-specific curricula, real-time feedback, and immersive sound, users can gain a fun and effective learning experience, and by supporting various practice modes such as one-hand/foot only, both hands + feet, etc., it can be easily and broadly used regardless of age, physical condition, or playing skill.

MEW DRUM is being evaluated by many educational institutions as a new educational standard that increases the accessibility of music education and makes rhythm learning easier and more enjoyable.
