Established in 2013, Emotionwave has been applying its artificial intelligence music technology platform 'RIMA (Robotic-Instruments Music for All),' which it successfully developed in 2017 by fusing technology and art to innovate industries, to various real-life sectors such as education, culture, leisure, and tourism.
Accordingly, by fusing AI music technology and IoT technology with 5G networks, 8K ultra-realistic XR media technology, and performance robotics technology, they are now presenting more advanced functions incorporating digital humans, NFTs, and blockchain to customers in large retail stores, hotels, family theme parks, and more.
An official from Emotionwave said, “Based on this, inquiries for construction are pouring in from businesses across a wide range of areas, including department stores, clothing brands, hospitals, and schools. As these achievements accumulate, it will be a good alternative for entertainment companies and artists who have difficulty with music and performance activities offline.”
On the 14th, they produced and released an AI album with vocalist Park Wan-kyu at K Digital Stage and conducted a metaverse live performance based on real-time XR streaming technology, which was also released on YouTube Music and various music sites along with an XR music video.
Emotionwave CEO Rio Jang said, “With the successful development of a 5G communication module for AIoT robotic instrument performance in December last year, K Digital Stage is now equipped with service conditions that can be provided to customers in a wireless environment,” adding, “As an entertainment platform, we will continue to innovate the offline and entertainment industry environments so that we can enjoy it with more consumers, as well as broadcasting.”
