The 5G module developed by Emotionwave for artificial intelligence instrument performance enables the implementation of ultra-low latency and high bandwidth based on wireless connectivity by linking large amounts of data, such as volumetric augmented reality content or 8K ultra-realistic media streaming content, with multiple 16~24 channel autonomous performance robots.Emotionwave (CEO Rio Jang) announced on the 30th that it has succeeded in developing a 5G communication module for artificial intelligence robotics instruments (autonomous performance robots).
As the non-face-to-face market rapidly grew due to COVID-19, and with 'RIMA' Public and K-Digital Stage models, which digitized existing music concert halls, accumulating successful implementation and construction records, it is expected that a wireless system without spatial limitations can be built, providing interior effects for the installation space and interest/experiences for various consumers.

An official from Emotionwave said, "With the successful development of this 5G module for AI instrument performance, we have established a bridgehead for integrating with digital and analog audio or sound systems, moving beyond an instrument-centric composition. In the future, we will be able to accelerate the development of metaverse solutions applied with AI and IoT (Internet of Things) by expanding application into home appliances, interior design, and construction, and by building a digital twin model linking super large concert halls and the metaverse."
Meanwhile, Emotionwave announced that it has completed 1 international patent application for each of the US and China (totaling 2), 6 domestic patent applications, and 7 trademark applications regarding non-face-to-face performance systems using AIoT technology, various artificial intelligence instrument performance devices, and a metaverse NFT platform.
