Emotionwave (CEO Rio Jang) has unveiled the AI robot music theme park ‘Space Lollipop.’
Space Lollipop is a futuristic theme park that fuses robots, artificial intelligence, big data, 5G, and Extended Reality (XR) technology, using space, the future, and music as themes. It was planned for the spread of robot culture and immersive media content. It provides various immersive robot music experience contents, such as spaces with colorful atmospheres mediated by virtual convergence technology and robots, highly immersive media videos, music, and games based on robots.
The core of Space Lollipop is the artificial intelligence robot band 'RIMA,' which consists of more than 6 types of AI robotic instruments, including piano, drums, guitar, bass, marimba, and percussion. RIMA can perform and create music in various genres such as classical, jazz, Korean traditional music, new age, pop songs, and rock by learning from over 100,000 pieces of music and performance big data.
RIMA's music AI creates new MIDI-based musical information based on deep learning technology that distinguishes existing PCM-based songs for each instrument and the technology to convert them into playable data. It also analyzes and responds to music in real time by linking with actual AI instruments.
Each artificial intelligence robotic instrument is connected via the Internet of Things (IoT), allowing for real-time simultaneous control through a dedicated application, and can be utilized not only for music education, music creation, and listening/performance, but also for entertainment in connection with various IoT devices.
Emotionwave's CEO Rio Jang said, "Space Lollipop is a future-oriented music theme park that connects the virtual and real through music AI and robotics technology," adding, "We will lead the spread and popularization of robot culture by applying existing robot technologies, which have been limited to the manufacturing and medical industries, to the cultural and art industries."
Meanwhile, Emotionwave unveiled 'Space Lollipop' at '2021 Roboworld,' held last week at KINTEX in Ilsan.
