Emotionwave participated in '4YFN(4 Years From Now)', an event held as part of 'MWC 2024', the world's largest mobile communication exhibition, in Barcelona, Spain, from the 26th to the 29th (local time), and showcased an innovative artificial intelligence concert system based on RIMA AI, which is its self-developed AI music composition engine.
Emotionwave received great interest from visitors by demonstrating enhanced RIMA AI drum performance and connectivity experiences with IoT instruments through the mobile RIMA AIoT system at this exhibition.
Emotionwave has newly developed the dedicated 16-channel interface DCP16 model so that more people can enjoy music than before. Through this, it is providing customers with a more robust and stable performance environment and concert experience.
Emotionwave CEO Rio Jang said, "Through this exhibition, Emotionwave is solidifying its position in the global market by receiving great acclaim in the European market," adding, "In particular, our innovative approach that enables non-music professionals to perform concerts and ensemble performances through various technological experiences connected with RIMA AI is receiving a lot of attention."
Emotionwave plans to unveil a dedicated set-top box featuring RIMA on device AI in the third quarter of 2024. This product is expected to newly incorporate a multimodal music generation module developed with complex Music Phrase generation technology applying AutocompVAE and LLM. Through this, it is anticipated that users will be able to have more diverse and original music experiences.
Junior Researcher Chun Eun-hyung said, "Our successful participation at 4YFN proves that our technology and products are being recognized in the global market," adding, "We will do our best to provide innovative ensemble and performance experiences through connections with a wider variety of instruments in the future."
