The best achievement award went to Media & Art and Nodeamen. Media & Art is a content production company that positions itself as a space designer with the goal of building digital theme parks. With 15 billion won in domestic and international project financing secured over the past five years and an average annual growth rate exceeding 50%, Media & Art aims to fill the shortcomings of existing theme parks by leveraging three strengths: ease of installation, removal, and modification; emphasis on storytelling within a space; and engaging content.
Nodeamen operates Art Platform Patron Digital, where digital copyrights for artworks can be registered, sold, and managed. It has digitized art, like music tracks and videos, into digital content that many people can enjoy. The advantage is that artists can easily reach customers through Patron, and customers can easily rent desired works. They aim to improve the existing art industry, which is centered on offline activities, through online means. Each of the two teams receiving the best achievement award was given a prize money of 5 million won.
Camera Tap Project, Emotionwave, and Jipshow Korea three teams received the excellence awards. Camera Tap Project is a team composed of alumni from Korea National University of Arts that operates an accompaniment music streaming app called Instream. Recognizing the inconvenience that musicians face in hiring accompanists for every performance, they created sound sources similar to real accompaniment music using top virtual instruments. The service's strength is that it offers 27 versions of sound per song, including options for key and tempo selection, allowing users to choose from diverse sounds according to the musician's preference. Currently, the sounds created by Camera Tap Project are used in actual performances, and high-quality sounds can be subscribed to monthly for 16,500 won, while regular sounds cost 9,000 won per month.
Jipshow Korea is a professional 3D space scanning company that produces VR content for art museums. By creating VR content for small and medium-sized art museums, which are relatively difficult to promote compared to large museums, it helps promote these smaller museums while also helping the public lower the barrier to visiting art museums. Currently, it operates the gallery 3D virtual showroom Onhwarang. Emotionwave is a technology company that dreams of combining innovative technology and art, and is a team that has held several performances by developing an artificial intelligence automatic performance instrument. Three companies with excellence awards were given a prize money of 1 million KRW each.
The special award from the judges went to Dailychang, an online platform for art lending and sales. In addition, other companies such as Petacompaney, a specialized company in art collaborations, Flit, a platform providing performance tickets and networks, Orchestra Story, an orchestra community, and Success Mode, a community for cultural and artistic hobbies, took the stage. At this event, in addition to the demo day, 1:1 consultation booths were set up for pre-registered companies, and guidance on crowdfunding through investment-type crowdfunding platforms for the arts field and information on technology guarantee fund support systems were also provided.
