The historical drama style rock ballad 'Fallen Before Turning Red,' which was written and composed by AI featuring singer Park Wan-kyu, will be revealed on the 14th.
'Rima AI (RIMA AI),' an AI composition engine developed by Emotionwave, a specialized company in AI music solutions, composed it by deep learning 20 seconds of Park Wan-kyu's improvisational vocal data.
RIMA AI, which was trained on over 100,000 pieces of music and performance big data, can catch melodies from short humming sounds made by people and estimate the music genre. Based on the estimated genre, it can further generate suitable melodies, making it possible to create a complete song with only 20 seconds of vocal data.
An official from Emotionwave stated, "We will officially launch our music metaverse platform this April," adding that "we plan to provide an AI composition service so that users can directly create and distribute content within the platform, and we will also support the issuance of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) for the created digital content."

Mixed Reality is a technology that fuses the functions of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) using AI and computer graphics technology to realistically implement virtual images in a real space.
Furthermore, they built an XR-based real-time metaverse performance system capable of live streaming by linking it with 8K ultra-high definition and ultra-low latency live streaming technology.
Emotionwave's artificial intelligence-based music creation and metaverse performance technology successfully passed a technical evaluation from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) through the Ministry of Science and ICT's AIoT project demonstration. It is scheduled to be utilized in digital human-based virtual performance services provided through Emotionwave's music metaverse platform in the future.
