Emotionwave participated in AICON Gwangju 2021 with its immersive rhythm action game 'Perfect Musician' experience booth.
Emotionwave participated in the global AI conference 'AICON Gwangju 2021', held from December 16 (Thurs) to 18 (Sat) at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center.
Established in April 2013, Emotionwave aims to create a new future through technology and services that connect human emotion and sensibility, connecting people's hearts and emotions. Future technology is not only for problem-solving; it is focusing on connecting people's hearts and emotions, and the digital world is innovating to move people's hearts by connecting with the analog world, thereby creating new markets.
Emotionwave, which creates various content through artificial intelligence, showcased 'Perfect Musician' at this exhibition. It is an immersive rhythm action game centered on piano and drums, based on artificial intelligence music technology and robotics technology. When the game starts, AI applied to the instruments installed nearby performs in rhythm with the music. Since it is not a recorded sound, players can enjoy the game while feeling the presence of the instrument.
An official from Emotionwave said, "You can play a game while listening to music that has been re-arranged by AI K-POP. Our company participated in this exhibition with such technology as an experiential booth for visitors."
Meanwhile, 'AICON Gwangju 2021', hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), and Gwangju Metropolitan City, and organized by the AI Industry Convergence Business Group, saw participation from about 30 speakers from 7 countries that are leaders in artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Under the theme 'The World's AI, Shining Here,' it reviewed AI technology trends and presented directions for the role of artificial intelligence in industrial convergence processes. Additionally, at the exhibition hall on the 1st floor, there was an AI company exhibition, a buyer consultation session, and a job fair with one-on-one job consultations involving a total of 40 companies participating as AI startups. In the metaverse exhibition hall, experience booths from AI-related companies participating in 'AICON Gwangju 2021' were set up.
