[Edaily] "Easily broadcast with virtual humans in the metaverse"... Emotionwave exhibits in the US

Wouldn't it be possible to easily broadcast in the metaverse using virtual humans without expensive, separate equipment.
Emotionwave plans to launch an application (app) so that anyone can utilize the core functions of virtual human performance, metaverse broadcasting, and concerts.
They are currently developing and advancing technology that allows digital humans to move using only a mobile phone and webcam, without a motion capture suit, and based on this digital human live broadcasting technology, they will release 'MUTA STUDIO' app for metaverse broadcasts and creators at the end of the year.
Prior to this, Emotionwave exhibited related technologies at 'MWC Las Vegas 2022' in Las Vegas, USA. These technologies can also be seen through SK Telecom's metaverse platform 'ifLand' and Emotionwave's 'MUTA' platform.
What is the 'Muta Studio'?

Muta Studio is an application that runs on the PC Windows operating system. It was developed with recommended specifications requiring a graphics environment of NVIDIA RTX3060ti or higher.
It plans to support users in easily conducting high-quality metaverse broadcasts and performances by providing hyper-realistic digital human NFTs and a metaverse studio environment within the metaverse.
Park Ji-hyun, head of Emotionwave, said, "Many people have a need for virtual broadcasting, but they are hesitant to start due to the need to purchase expensive equipment and the difficulty of setting up a metaverse broadcasting environment," adding, "We hope that more people can freely express their talents through the Muta Studio app."

The virtual concert and broadcasting technology demo was planned and composed in the form of a mini-concert by AIMPLE's virtual human 'Palryong' to provide an on-site experience. An AIMPLE NFT minting party was also held at MWC, where attendees who participated in watching and communicating during the live concert were given AIMPLE non-replaceable tokens (NFT).
Virtual idol Palryong communicated with visitors while singing from his debut album, 'At the Rest Stop,' which he wrote and composed himself, and many visitors enjoyed interacting with Palryong.

Also held at the metaverse platforms ifland and MUTA
'Muta Festival' is the world's first on/offline mixed music metaverse festival connected to various offline and retail spaces. It will be held until the end of the year through SK Telecom's metaverse platform 'ifland' and Emotionwave's 'MUTA' platform.
Various artists, including Hyojin Choi, Park Wan-kyu, and Jin Seon, are scheduled to showcase performances in the metaverse.
