**The '2025 International Streaming Festival'** was a joint event hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Busan Metropolitan City, marking its third year. It covered the entire streaming industry, including OTT and FAST, and featured various programs such as investment attraction showcases and summits. Famous domestic and international actors like Park Eun-bin, Oh Jung-se, and Sakaguchi Kentaro, along with singers like Hong Yi-sak, participated to present a future-oriented space where media, technology, and culture converge.
AI Agent Technology Based 'Infidity'
On August 23rd, Emotionwave unveiled the **AI companion platform 'Infidity'**, based on AI agents, at an investment attraction showcase held at the Paradise Hotel. Infidity is an abbreviation for 'Infinite Identity,' and it is a platform that applies proprietary AI solutions such as AI voice synthesis, AI companion persona creation, and AI conversation.
Through Infidity, users could create their desired AI companions, converse with them, and freely create and trade content in fan communities. Emotionwave stated its plan to revolutionize the global creator and fan economy through this, and to lead the AI companion ecosystem.
Proof of Global Market Achievements and Technology
Emotionwave is gaining recognition for its technology in the global market. This year, it signed an export contract worth 2 billion KRW with Canada and secured AI Suite contracts totaling approximately $13 million from six countries, including the United States, India, and Singapore.
Furthermore, in December 2024, it verified its technology by receiving a passing grade in a mock technical evaluation for KOSDAQ special listing using an AI Suite technology specialized for media content. Through this 'Infidity' unveiling, Emotionwave accelerated the popularization and commercialization of its technology.
Cho Seung-hyun, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Emotionwave, said, "Infidity is a core business for the commercialization of AI agents, and we will establish ourselves as a leading company with super-gap technology in the global media and content industry," adding, "We will make this festival a good opportunity to promote Korea's AI media technology competitiveness."
