Emotionwave, a specialized media artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 30th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) in India for global cooperation in the media and entertainment industry.
Through this agreement, Emotionwave plans to further accelerate the diffusion of technology and nurturing of talent in the global market.
Emotionwave and MESC plan to promote cooperation in areas such as ▲utilizing global standard technologies and platform environments (MUTA and RIMA) ▲operating exchange programs for students from Korea and India ▲and fostering innovative talent and technical content experts. In particular, Emotionwave plans to support talent development through a training program utilizing the MUTA SDK and expand the practical application of technology by developing applied products using RIMA artificial intelligence.
MUTA is one of Emotionwave's core strategies, focusing on disseminating music experiences based on StageCloud and AIMPLE digital human technology worldwide.
Through this agreement, Emotionwave plans to strengthen third-party partnerships in the global market through the MUTA platform and nurture new talents by utilizing the MUTA SDK. Furthermore, RIMA's generative artificial intelligence technology will provide customized solutions for the Indian market, actively promoting localization and expanding partnerships through technology licensing and developing applied products.
Emotionwave also plans to lead international standardization by sensitizing and advancing AIMPLE digital human technology. Digital human technology can be applied to various industries such as live commerce, education, and broadcasting, and Emotionwave plans to develop this into innovative cases in the global market.
Rio Jang, CEO of Emotionwave, stated, "Through this cooperation, we will further disseminate the core technologies of Emotionwave AI Suite, including MUTA, RIMA, and AIMPLE, to the global market and propose a new collaboration model between the media and entertainment industries of Korea and India," adding, "We will continuously support the excellent talents of both countries to be active on the global stage."
MESC is a non-profit organization established by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) that leads skill development and human resource development in the Indian media and entertainment sector.
Ms. Roshni Sehgal (Business Head, MESC Leadership) said, "Through this agreement, we will strengthen global standard education and talent development, and create new opportunities through cooperation between the two countries."
This agreement ceremony was held by an executive from MESC at the Emotionwave booth during the Seoripul Festival in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on both September 28th and 29th. The two companies plan to contribute to the development of the global media and entertainment industry through continuous cooperation in the future.
Emotionwave is a company that develops various media solutions based on generative AI and digital technology, and it expects to strengthen its capabilities in India and the global market through this MOU.
