Emotionwave (CEO Rio Jang), an artificial intelligence specialized company, announced on the 1st that it signed an MOU worth 1.2 million USD (approx. 1.6 billion KRW) with Phantom Resources, a Singapore-based company, along with the launch of 'AIMPLE Studio,' a virtual broadcasting solution utilizing generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) technology.
In today's business environment, the advancement of AI technology and the expansion of the metaverse market are highlighting the importance of digital human solutions. Accordingly, Emotionwave and Phantom Resources will pursue comprehensive cooperation covering: △strategic utilization of digital human broadcasting solution technology △strengthening broadcast and licensing transactions △and business expansion in Southeast Asia.

This agreement aims to lead innovation in the live commerce field through a digital human broadcasting solution by combining the joint capabilities of the two companies.
Since entering the live commerce industry in 2017, Phantom Resources has achieved high growth by providing extensive live commerce services in Singapore and Malaysia. As a high-growth live commerce company that provides various content through major platforms such as Facebook and TikTok, Phantom Resources has established itself with over 15 billion KRW in revenue.
The two companies plan to prioritize the stable development of digital human broadcasting solutions and the establishment of a digital human studio for live commerce activities through this MOU. Furthermore, they plan to cooperate in areas such as building the digital human studio, developing live commerce content, and jointly developing dedicated digital human solutions for live commerce. In the future, they plan to jointly pursue new businesses along with providing unmanned, AI-based digital human broadcasting solutions.
