Emotionwave (CEO Rio Jang), a specialized metaverse artificial intelligence (AI) company, plans to showcase a new horizon for global K-POP auditions with 'StageCloud,' a metaverse AI music platform, at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, USA, from the 9th to the 12th (local time).
StageCloud is a platform that provides core experiences and interfaces for K-POP auditions in a metaverse environment. It offers a full lifecycle experience covering everything from music creation to challenging oneself as a musician, allowing users to experience realistic auditions in virtual space.
This experience connects K-POP musicians and aspiring artists, forming mentor-mentee relationships and presenting a new business strategy for them to grow into and debut as artists.
StageCloud provides opportunities for customers to directly participate in the growth and success of artists through a DAO-based voting system, allowing for co-growth with them. Furthermore, by providing an online/offline digital twin program linked with various existing offline auditions and K-POP festivals, it plans to present a new paradigm for the music industry.
As a first step, they plan to hold a VTuber audition through a linkage with Emotionwave's digital human studio, 'AIMPLE Studio'.
Park Seong-hyun, director at Emotionwave, said, "StageCloud presents new possibilities in the music industry by combining the global popularity of K-POP. This platform will allow creators and fans to grow together and build a new music ecosystem."
Emotionwave is expected to play an important role in shaping the future of the music industry by presenting a new form of music creation and audition experience through StageCloud.
