Music metaverse specialized company Emotionwave announced that it recently participated in 'KOBA 2022' and unveiled the metaverse Non-Fungible Token (NFT) entertainment platform, 'aimple 2.0'.
aimple is an NFT metaverse platform launched last December that supports anyone to operate as a digital human in the metaverse environment.
While aimple 1.0 provided various forms of digital human creation services ranging from cartoon-type to realistic type, aimple 2.0 has added AI music creation functions, NFT trading functions, and live broadcasting functions.
Thus, it is now possible to create 2D and 3D digital humans that can operate in the metaverse on the web through aimple, and to produce various contents based on these digital human IPs and issue and trade them as NFTs.
Emotionwave showcased the new feature of AIMPLE 2.0, a digital human-based 3D live broadcast, at its booth in the Special Hall for One-Person Media at KOBA 2022 and held an event. Visitors were able to communicate with the digital human 'Roah' in real time regardless of age or gender.
Previously, facial capture and motion capture technology were essential to operate a digital human in real time. Even now, it is possible to achieve natural movements only by having people wear and move with expensive special equipment.
However, Emotionwave is developing and advancing motion capture and facial capture technology that allows the convenient operation of digital humans in a web environment without special equipment, utilizing webcams and smartphones for the popularization of digital humans.
Furthermore, Emotionwave plans to enhance services provided by AIMPLE and later introduce 'MUTA,' a music metaverse based on Web 3.0.
MUTA will be accessible through mobile or PC, where users can create and trade AI music and video content within the metaverse. In addition, it is planned to implement various activities such as live broadcasting, concerts, and games.
Rio Jang, CEO of Emotionwave, said, "Our goal is not just to support the creation of digital humans, but to enable many people to be active in the metaverse and both online and offline using digital humans, creating IP value and content to earn revenue." He added, "We plan to identify customer needs through participation in various domestic and international exhibitions and events to provide customer-centric services and recruit domestic and international investors for the global service launch of AIMPLE."
