[AI Pianist Hanul / Provided by = Emotionwave]Emotionwave, a specialized company in artificial intelligence music technology, will participate in the 'Blockchain Trend Conference (BTC) 2021: NFT - Era of Value Transformation' hosted by Tokenpost.
This event is a two-way information sharing platform where attendees can learn about various business application cases from pioneers in the NFT industry under the theme of Korea's first NFT, and gain insights and inspiration regarding the future direction of the NFT industry through in-depth Q&A.
Emotionwave announced that it will launch 'AIMPLE,' a metaverse-based NFT entertainment platform in the second half of the year, which supports everything from digital musician creation to content creation, album release and distribution, and management so that anyone can operate as a digital musician in a metaverse environment. They introduced the AI pianist 'Hanul' created with 'AIMPLE' and Hanul's music.
AIMPLE provides music from digital musicians who can dance, sing, and act through AI technology and performance deep learning training. Furthermore, it plans to build a marketplace for NFT creation and trading, supporting the issuance of digital musician sound sources and content as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) and facilitating trading and investment activities without restrictions on copyright or musical knowledge.
RIMA, which is at the technological core of this platform, refers to AI music and performance engine technology and an artificial intelligence robot band. It consists of a total of 6 types of instruments: robot piano, robot guitar, robot bass, robot drum, robot percussion, and robot marimba. RIMA has successfully performed on various stages across Korea and overseas. Using big data of over 100,000 songs that organize instrument performance information and music data, it can perform music composed with actual instruments or record it. Additionally, it can handle various music genres, including classical, new age, jazz, K-POP, and rock, among the 100,000 songs.
If music and content created with RIMA technology and AI bands are issued as NFTs, the owner of the music and content and the transaction history are recorded on the blockchain network, and due to the nature of the blockchain, the recorded content cannot be easily altered. Therefore, NFTs are being usefully applied in fields such as art, music, and video where verifying authenticity and proving ownership is important.
Rio Jang, CEO of Emotionwave, said, "AIMPLE allows anyone to become a digital musician through metaverse and AI technology, regardless of musical knowledge and talent, and can engage in activities such as dancing, singing, acting, and modeling, and monetize them." He added, "I hope that many musicians and broadcasting and entertainment industry professionals can be actively involved through AIMPLE."
Meanwhile, Emotionwave unveiled the digital musician 'Hanul' through the AIMPLE website and Hanul's official website. Hanul is set to officially debut through AIMPLE at the end of June 2021 as the world's first new age digital musician.
