[AI Times] Emotionwave-NBacks-Dongwon University to Jointly Develop AI Music Education Program

Emotionwave (CEO Rio Jang), an enterprise specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) music and the metaverse, announced on the 20th that it will join forces with NBacks (CEO Jo Seung-hyun) and Dongwon University (President Lee Jong-won) to vitalize music education.
On the 14th, Emotionwave signed an 'Agreement for Activating and Creating an Environment for ICT-based Music Education' at Dongwon University Hyogam Hall with NBacks, which created the non-face-to-face music education platform 'MEW', and Dongwon University, which nurtures talent in webtoons, games, and media.
Emotionwave and NBacks plan to jointly develop an AI education program with the faculty of Dongwon University's Practical Music Department and plan a metaverse performance with current students.
Furthermore, on this day, Jo Seung-hyun, CEO of NBacks, delivered a special lecture to students from Dongwon University's Practical Music Department on the future of the ICT-based music industry centered on AI and the metaverse.

During this lecture, CEO Jo explained ▲the current status of the music industry utilizing AI ▲the current status of the music industry utilizing the metaverse ▲the future music industry and expectations based on ICT ▲the importance of metaverse education in an uncontact environment, arguing that education and utilization through AI will have a positive impact on enhancing educational effectiveness.
CEO Jo stated, "Music still faces difficulties in development because it has not yet applied technology-based smart education systems," adding, "We hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity to vitalize the music education system of public educational institutions."
Rio Jang, CEO of Emotionwave, said, "With this agreement, the AI education business and virtual artist production and metaverse performance business can be converged," adding that he hopes it will become an opportunity for nurturing talent related to K-pop performances.
