[AI Times] Emotionwave Plans to Launch StageCloud Music Metaverse Platform Next Year

Emotionwave, an AI metaverse specialist (CEO Rio Jang), announced on the 20th that it plans to launch 'StageCloud,' a metaverse music platform equipped with AI framework technology, in the second half of next year after undergoing closed beta testing.
Emotion Wave previously demonstrated the closed beta of StageCloud at 'AWE Asia 2023' held at the Singapore Expo last August and at the 'Korea Metaverse Festival 2023' recently held at COEX Seoul. They also showcased a metaverse singing experience linked with the AI concert system 'RIMA' in front of global XR experts and related personnel.
They explained that StageCloud's singing experience provides delicate direction and highly immersive spatial experiences that can only be experienced in the metaverse, unlike existing karaoke or mobile environments. They emphasized that it offers a realistic singing experience by adding an AI concert system.

Currently, it is under development and update with a goal of official launch in the second half of 2024. The official version plans to establish a sustainable music content production and consumption environment by introducing a metaverse piano competition, an AI music studio, large-scale performance venue experience, and a DAO-based audition and competition system.
In particular, it will support large language models (LLM) and AI singing correction, AI music creation, and AI music collaborative creation experiences. Collaboration between users also becomes possible.
Park Sung-hyun, Director at Emotionwave, said, "A super-large AI-based metaverse music platform can create the most innovative and sustainable music ecosystem," adding, "We will strive for platform development considering not only the Korean market but also the global market."
